Things to Do

Whatever your interest you will never be short of things to do or places to visit.  Cornwall is famous for it's sandy beaches and is also an excellent surfing area.  This part of the world has always attracted artists and sightseers entranced by the beautiful bays, glorious golden sands, stunning high cliffs and secluded small coves providing what some consider to be the most spectacular scenery in all of England.

    Unique open-air theatre on the cliffside at Porthcurno - performances from May-September.
  • Tate St Ives
    Modern and contemporary art gallery.
  • Land's End
    National landmark.  Attractions include Arthur's Quest, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Greeb Farm, Air Sea Rescue, The End to End Story.  Shopping Village with stunning scenery.
  • Lizard Point
    National Trust Area  at the most southerly point of mainland Britain.
  • Godrevy
    National Trust Area with excellent views of the Lighthouse and St Ives Bay.

We visited Truro whilst down for a long weekend.  It's a gorgeous City with all the usual shops you will find in any High Street but great little independent coffee shops right in the shadow of the Cathedral - give them a try!
